<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering control device capable of maintaining a fourable steering-wheel returning characteristic even if tire pressure changes. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric power steering control device having a motor to generate a torque for assisting steering torque generated by operation of a driver so that the steering force of its steering system is assisted, the device includes a road surface reaction torque sensing means to sense road surface reaction torque which each tire receives from a road surface, a tire pressure sensing means to sense tire pressure, a road surface reaction force correction amount computing means to correct the road surface reaction torque sensed by the sensing means on the basis of the output of the tire pressure sensing means, and a road surface reaction torque adding control means to control the torque of the motor on the basis of the corrected road surface reaction torque corrected by the correction amount computing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
