<p>PURPOSE:To discharge high temperature air of which heat exchanging with scraps after clear removal of white smoke or bad odor substances contained in the air when the heated air is forcedly supplied to the scraps before feeding into a melting furnace to perform a preheating operation and to perform an effective utilization of heat energy of the high temperature air of which the preheating is finished for the preheating of the scraps. CONSTITUTION:Scraps 20 fed into a melting furnace 10 are melted, discharged gas discharged from the melting furnace 10 is guided to a heat exchanger 26, where air forcedly transported at a predetermined pressure is heat exchanged by the heat exchanger 26 so as to be heated, then guided to the scrap 20 waited before being fed into the melting furnace 10 so as to preheat the scraps 20. Then, the preheated scraps 20 are fed into the melting furnace 10 and in turn the air of which the heat exchanging operation is finished with the scraps 20 is supplied to the discharged gas fed from the melting furnace 10 to the heat exchanger 26 so as to ignite combustible substances in the discharged gas and at the same time white smoke and bad odor substance contained in the high temperature air of which heat exchanging with the scraps 20 is finished are concurrently ignited.</p> |
