<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed fish food containing a polyvalent unsaturated fatty acid such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) or eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and tastily edible and a method for producing the processed fish food. <P>SOLUTION: The processed fish product comprises an eye socket fat tissue and ordinary meat located around midribs of tunas. The method for producing the processed fish food comprises boiling washed head and washed midribs of the tunas, respectively, then recovering the eye socket fat tissue and ordinary meat located around the midribs, mixing the eye socket fat tissue with the ordinary meat and forming the resultant mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
