PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for easily preventing the unnecessary increase of the opening area of a vent hole even if the air bag is formed of noncoat type woven fabric. SOLUTION: This air bag 20 is formed of the woven fabric 21 formed by weaving the warp VS and the weft HS, and has the vent hole 27 capable of exhausting flowed-in inflating gas. The vent hole 27 opens in an almost circular shape in the woven fabric 21 and is constituted by arranging projecting parts 29 on the inner peripheral edge. The respective projecting parts 29 are arranged in peripheral edges BP of four places in the bias direction crossing at about 45°with the warp VS and the weft HS with the opening center O as a reference.
