PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device capable of stabilizing balance at the time of ultra-high speed rotation for minimizing the vibration and noise of a main spindle, and improving processing accuracy with an extremely small unbalance volume of the main spindle and with generating little variation of the unbalance volume even if clamp and unclamp operations of a tool are repeated. SOLUTION: A pair of a right spiral plate spring 28 and a left spiral plate spring 29 are arranged and fitted on the outer periphery of a draw bar 26. An intermediate spacer 30 rotatably arranged to the draw bar 26 by a radial bearing 31 is arranged between the pair of the spiral plate springs 28, 29. When the pair of the spiral plate springs 28, 29 are compressed by clamp and unclamp operations, torsion in a direction for releasing spiral caused to the pair of the spiral plate springs 28, 29 is absorbed by rotating the intermediate spacer 30 so as to prevent the displacement of the spiral plate springs 28, 29 and the intermediated spacer 30.
