PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for straightening a wire body, where the linear body is curved in two directions so that the straightening accuracy of its curving tendency is enhanced and where the curving direction can be varied corresponding to the directional property of the curving tendency of the linear body. SOLUTION: In the wire body straightening apparatus where the wire body is corrected by making it meander between a plurality of rollers alternately opposed to each other, the rollers with roughly V-shaped grooves having laterally asymmetrical walls are attached in arbitrary combinations of a normal and a reverse direction. The passing position of the wire body being deviated from the central passing line, the wire body is made meander into the direction orthogonal to the overlapping direction of the rollers and bent.
