<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated molded paper container having a structure that is easy to control energy during ultrasonic welding, has smooth wrinkles in the paper of a flange, and has gas barrier properties. <P>SOLUTION: The corrugated molded paper container (3) has the flange (3a) formed from a laminated sheet composed of a paper backing material and a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin is welded to only wrinkles in paper which are formed on the flange (3a) due to corrugation molding.
