<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poultry feed surely improving immune strength of a larval chicken (a chick) while directly utilizing a basic feed consisting essentially of deposited and aged rice straws and pasture grass. <P>SOLUTION: The poultry feed is obtained by including pulverized pieces of a boiled egg (limited to a fertilized egg) pulverized together with the shell in the basic feed prepared by formulating the deposited and aged rice straws and pasture grass as a principal component with rice bran and sawdust in an amount of 15-20 wt.% based on the principal component and a pulverized calcium carbonate component in an amount of 3-7 wt.% based on the principal component. The content of the pulverized pieces of the boiled egg is sometimes the ratio of one egg based on 1 kg of the basic feed. The weight ratio of the rice straws to pasture grass to be the principal component is preferably within the range of (5:5) to (6:4) of the rice straws:pasture grass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
