<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method which reduces excess sludge, a charged chemical liquid and energy in the treatment of organic wastewater by activated sludge, and a treatment apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment method for passing organic wastewater through a pH adjusting tank, a denitrification tank, a biological treatment tank and a solid-liquid separation tank in this order to biologically treat the same and subsequently separating sludge, sludge is solubilized and/or decomposed by bacteria capable of solubilizing sludge in alkaline conditions and the treated sludge is refluxed to the pH adjusting tank and the denitrification tank to treat the organic wastewater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
