INK SHEET FOR LASER HEAT TRANSFER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink sheet for laser heat transfer which has high sensitivity without excessive exposure and less stain of image.

SOLUTION: A support body comprises a photothermal conversion layer, an intermediate layer and an ink layer. The ink sheet for laser heat transfer is provided with a backcoat layer, whose gloss index is less than the support body by 10 to 100, on the opposite side of the ink layer. The backcoat layer contains a fine particle having an average diameter larger than the film thickness. The intermediate layer has a gelatin as a main component.
