<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the anti-slipping off strength of a flexible pipe and also to make the connection easy in a joint for the flexible pipe wherein a terminal of the flexible pipe having the structure wherein angled parts are paralelly continued at the fixed distance is engaged with an engaging element provided in the joint main body so as to connect the flexible pipe in the anti-slipping off state. CONSTITUTION:A flange 2a is extended to the release end inner peripheral side of an insertion side cylinder part 2 of a joint main body 1 so as to take the inner peripheral surface as a taper surface T to be contracted toward the release end side, and a cylindrical seal to be hermetically fitted around the top end of a flexible pipe P to be inserted therein is provided, moreover an engaging element 3 internally is contact with a taper surface T, and capable of being axially moved freely is provided. And the engaging element 3 is held by an annular body 5 whose inside diameter is slightly larger than that of the angled part P1, and the annular body 5 is energized to the release end side of the insertion side cyilinder part 2, thereby the engaging element 3 can be extended and contracted in the radius direction of the insertion side cylinder part 2.</p> |
