Absorbing hygienic articles such as baby diapers, incontinence pads, underwear pads or menstruation pads which at the outer layer have been supplied with a liquid-absorbing cellulose layer which absorbs the liquid that can seep through the hygienic article's plastic film through the so-called pin-holes or the liquid that passes through the plastic film by it having been made water steam permeable. Through this the comfort is increased since direct contact with the plastic film is avoided and the risk that the user's underwear and skin become wet is reduced.
