<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit which allows a lamp to be replaced in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: This light source unit is equipped with a lamp unit, a main body part, a first electrical contact, a second electrical contact, and an illumination light emitting part. The lamp unit has a first lamp, a second lamp, a first supporting member, a second supporting member, and a third supporting member. The first supporting member serves as an electrically-conductive member which can be freely attached to/detached from the first electrode of the first lamp. The second supporting member serves as an electrically-conductive member which can be freely attached to/detached from the second electrode of the first lamp and the third electrode of the second lamp. The third supporting member serves as an electrically-conductive member which can be freely attached to/detached from the fourth electrode of the second lamp. The first electrical contact is provided inside the main body part, and the second supporting member is connected to the first electrical contact when the lamp unit is housed inside the main body part. The second electrical contact is provided inside the main body part, and the first supporting member or the third supporting member is connected to the second electrical contact in accordance with the direction of the storage of the lamp unit, when the lamp unit is housed inside the main body part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
