PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine noticing that the physique of a person to be treated brings about a change in tapping action during the tapping action of the massage machine and detecting this change to control the action of the massage machine to perform massage action corresponding to the physique of the person to be treated during the rising and falling of treatment elements. SOLUTION: The massage machine 1 has a pair of treatment elements performing at least tapping action and is equipped with a drive mechanism rising and falling up and down by the driving of a motor and a detection means for detecting a change during tapping action is provided. A memory means storing the output value detected by the detection means is provided and a control means utilizing the change of the current value of the motor for driving the treatment elements as the change during tapping action and controlling the action of the massage machine corresponding to the output value detected by the detection means on the basis of the change is provided.
