PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus with which a performance requested from inspection contents can be realized. SOLUTION: A display monitor 35 displays radiographing methods or inspection contents in a selectively directable way, a storage section 49 stores driving systems preset for each radiographing method or inspection content, for driving a top plate 1 and a radiographing unit 9, and a main controller section 41 controls driving the top plate 1 and the radiographing unit 9 on the base of the driving systems which are stored in the storage section 49 and comply with a selected direction from the display monitor 35, whereby a drive control method for the top plate 1 and the radiographing unit 9 can be changed according to the radiographing method or the inspection content, so that the performance can be realized which is requested from the inspection contents.
