PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on a conventional jack steady rest device 108 for a working vehicle, comprising a fixed side member 102 mounted on the vehicle, a moving side member 103 movable between a storage position close to the vehicle 1 and an extension position apart from the vehicle 1, and a grounding member 104 mounted at the lower end of the moving side member 103 in a horizontally rocking manner, which is provided between the lower face of the fixed side member 102 and the upper face of the grounding member 104, that the minimum ground level of the jack at its storage position determined on the lower face of the grounding member 104 is smaller, and to make the minimum ground level greater. SOLUTION: This jack steady rest device comprises engagement means 11 provided between a fixed side member 3 and a grounding member 5 for engaging therewith at the storage position within the height range of the grounding member 5 to restrict the horizontal rocking of the grounding member 5.
