PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated packaging material on which a heat seal site and a heat seal condition can easily be controlled when the laminated packaging material is heat-sealed, and to provide a method for sealing the laminated packaging material. SOLUTION: The laminated packaging material comprises at least a base material and a sealable resin layer, the sealable resin layer contains a near infrared rays-absorbing material such as a carbon nano-tube, and the near infrared rays-absorbing material is dispersed in the sealable resin layer.
