PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dye composition which can sufficiently control a sensitizing property. SOLUTION: This hair dye composition contains (A) an oxidation dye and (B) at least one of pinene and terpinene. The pinene is preferablyβ-pinene. The terpinene is preferablyγ-terpinene. It is preferable that the component (B) includes pinene and terpinene. It is preferable that the hair dye composition further contains (C) at least one of allantoin, an olive leaf extract and a Gentiana lutea extract. The hair dye composition can be mixed with the second agent containing an oxidizing agent as the first agent of an oxidation hair dye and then applied to hair. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
