PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic announcement device for an elevator at a low cost, using a minimum space for installation, giving no sense of incompatibility in operation, and capable of working with a high response speed. SOLUTION: The automatic announcement device of the elevator is equipped with a button signal input part 10 fed with a button signal using a car operating button 9 installed in an elevator car, an announcement command input part 8 fed with an announcement command signal to make a command for guide announcement, an announcement command control part 12 to control the announcement command on the basis of the signal conditions of the button signal and the announcement command signal, and a voice synthesizing part 13 to make guide announcement in accordance with the elevator operating situation conforming to the announcement command given by the announcement command control part 12 and emitting a register tone to notify that the button signal is entered, whereby the call registering function is consolidated inside the voice synthesizing device 6 and the button signal is processed in the device 6.
