PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium for a mask low in pressure loss, having high particle collection efficiency and biodegradability, suitable for the case of violent work under a highly concentrated aerosol atmosphere and enabling treatment friendly to environment after use. SOLUTION: The filter medium is obtained by mixing electretized film split fibers comprising a polymer mainly comprising an aliphatic polyester with fibers having crimping properties comprising a polymer mainly comprising an aliphatic polyester.
