PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine using a linear motor having a temperature detector of a linear motor coil which can safely operate by displaying or warning various troubles due to heating beforehand by eliminating the troubles. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine comprises: the linear motor (13) as a linearly drive mechanism; a temperature sensor (20) for sensing the temperature of the coil (16) or its vicinity of the motor; an input means (23) of the sensed temperature signal by the sensor; a data conversion means (24) for converting the temperature signal into temperature data; a storage unit (25) having a temperature data setter (25a) for previously setting an allowed temperature or the like for storing the temperature data by the data conversion means; a comparison arithmetic means (26) for comparing the temperature data by the data conversion means with the set value of the data setter and calculating the data; an output means (27) for outputting a command signal and display data corresponding to the calculated result by the comparison arithmetic means; and a display means (29) for displaying the display data output from the comparison arithmetic means.
