PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing cutter for an electrode tip which can be held to a holder without looseness even if a plate like cutter body is used, and can reduce manufacturing man-hours and costs. SOLUTION: The polishing cutter C is provided with the plate like cutter body 22 and the holder 40 to be mounted to a rotation drive part of a dresser. The holder is provided with two recessed receiving faces 41, 42 for receiving the mutual tips of a pair of the electrode tips. The cutter body is held by the holder by making cutting blades 25, 27 face from the vicinity of the outer peripheral edge of each receiving face to the vicinity of the center. A mounting face part 45 of the holder is provided with a front position regulating part 46 for positional regulation of the front end face 28 of the cutter body, edge side position regulating parts 47, 48 to be fitted to positioning recessed parts 31, 32 of the cutter body, and a screw hole 50 for screwing 38 the cutter body. The cutter body is provided with a slit 36 and a through-hole 36 which has the inner diameter dimension larger than the width dimension of the slit and slightly smaller than the outer diameter dimension of a screw shaft part 38b.
