<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling further miniaturization of a hydrogen separator and related to the connection between members constituting the hydrogen separator. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen separator 10 is equipped with modified gas channel plates 30 (30a and 30b) being thin plate-shaped member made of a metal, hydrogen separation plates 40 (40a and 40b) and a purge gas flow channel plate 50.
