PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector capable of preventing the outbreak of infectious diseases.

SOLUTION: The protector 10 protects a tube through part, where a tube 90 penetrates into the skin of a living body, from infections. The protector comprises an attaching part 20 which is attached to the skin of the living body around the tube penetrating part and a covering part 40 for covering the tube penetrating part and forming an internal space P2 surrounding the tube penetrating part. The covering part 40 has a part P1 through which the tube passes and is further provided with an opening P3 that can be opened and closed by a lid 80 or the like.
