PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording body which excels in recording sensitivity and also has high stability to a plasticizer or the like.

SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording body provided with a heat- sensitive recording layer containing a colorless or a light-colored dye precursor and an organic developer which reacts with a dye precursor to develop color on a supporting substrate, the heat-sensitive recording body is characterized in that a composite fine particle having the dye precursor and a polymer of a multivalent isocyanate compound is included as the dye precursor, and also the ratio of the dye precursor to the total weight of the composite fine particle is of 55 wt.% or more and 65 wt.% or less.
