<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance stability in lifting action and reducing physical strength load and mental load of a bathing person and a caregiver in a lift device for a bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: In the lift device for the bathtub, a home water pipe is directly connected to a water bag and the volumetric change of the water bag due to the supply and discharge of tap water is used as the drive force of lifting action. By forming the water bag into a truncated cone shape, the offset of the shape at volumetric change of the water bag is eliminated and lifting action is made smooth to enhance stability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
