PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding/assembling mechanism for a folding buggy which is safer than any conventional mechanism and can prevent a misoperation to put the buggy during service in a folded state while a change from an assembled state to the folded state can be made simply. SOLUTION: The folding/assembling mechanism of the folding buggy is to maintain the assembled state on a body frame capable of being folded in the fore and aft direction and perform the change from the assembled state to the folded state by a folding operation, and the mechanism includes a folding operation part to start the folding operation and a drive part to perform the change from the assembled state of the body frame to the folded state by the operation of the folding operation part in such a way as interlocking with the folding operation part, wherein the folding operation part and the drive part are arranged displaceable between a state that the interlocking is disengaged and a state that the interlocked folding displacement drive part is movable.
