PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape manufacturing metal mold having a structure for accurately and easily forming a die cavity molding quadrangular punch hole at a right angle. SOLUTION: This metal mold is composed of a first member 1 having a vertical surface 1a and a horizontal surface 1b crossing at a right angle, a second member 2 formed in an L shape in a side view of a vertical rising part 2a and a horizontal receiving seat part 2b, and a third member 3 tightly superposed on an internal angle part of the second member 2. Cutout recesses 2d, etc., each having a U shape in a plan view are extendedly formed over a part of the horizontal receiving seat part 2b from a vertical rising part 2c on the vertical outside surface of the second member 2. The inmost part of the U-shaped cutout recesses 2d formed in a receiving seat 2b side is hidden by bringing the vertical surface 1a of the first member 1 and the vertical outside surface 2c of the second member 2 into surface-contact with each other, and superposing the third member 3 on the internal angle part of the second member 2.
