PURPOSE: Provided is an organic electrolyte which does not tend to react with an anode active material, thereby giving excellent charge/discharge characteristics, self-discharge property and low temperature properties of a lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: The organic electrolyte comprises a mixed organic solvent and a lithium salt, wherein the mixed organic solvent comprises a solvent having a high dielectric constant, a solvent having low viscosity and a compound represented by formula 1, wherein each of R1 and R2 independently represents a C1-C3 linear or cyclic alkyl group, and x is an integer of 1 to 4.
