PURPOSE: A disk assembly is provided to assemble a disk within a range occurring no read error and damaging no recordable area. CONSTITUTION: The disk assembly is equipped with a hub(22), a shaft(21) rotatively supporting the hub, disks(23) layered to the hub by being separated as much as a gab due to insertion of a spacer(24), a clamping part(26), and a ring(27). The ring presses the disk by placing between a groove(26a) and the disk. The ring transfers force transferred from a surface contacted to the clamping part regardless of transform of the clamping part caused by a repulsive force resisting to a fixing force applied when the ring is fixed with a bolt(25).
