CATALYST FOR PURIFYING EXHAUST GAS FROM CAR AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are a catalyst for purifying exhaust gas generated from car, having good catalytic activity regarding nitrogen oxide at high temperature and cheap, and a method for preparing thereof. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of (a) dissolving a platinum complex in a polyol to prepare a first solution; (b) dissolving a palladium-containing salt solution and an iron-containing salt in a polyol to prepare a second solution; (c) performing an incipient wetness of the first solution and the second solution in a carrier to prepare a palladium, iron and platinum supported catalyst; (d) drying and pulverizing the catalyst to prepare catalyst powders; and (d) heat-treating the catalyst powders.
