PURPOSE: A device and method for indicating washing water pollution for a dishwasher is provided to enable a user to exchange polluted water for new clean water by counting the number of times when washing water is supplied to a washing nozzle and indicating the pollution of the washing water. CONSTITUTION: A control device for a dishwasher is composed of an adjusting unit(1), a rinse water level sensor(2), a rinse water temperature sensor(3), a washing water temperature sensor(4), a flame sensor(5), a door switch(6), a washing tub sensor(7), and a control unit(8). A washing water circulation counting unit(13) counts the number of times when washing water is supplied to a washing nozzle. A pollution indicating unit(14) indicates the pollution of the washing water when the counted number reaches a predetermined value.
