PURPOSE: Provided is a side by side conjugated yarn which involves excellent crimping endurance and section formation, and is well adapted for use in manufacturing clothes. CONSTITUTION: A side by side conjugated yarn comprises has a first fiber formation element, and a second fiber formation element. Only one of the first and the second fiber formation elements has a base polymer and an alignment inhibitor, and the crimping rate thereof by heat treatment is 30-70%. The alignment inhibitor is selected from methyl methacrylate, polymethyl methacrylate or imides thereof, polyamide 66, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene glycol, or caprolactone.
