PURPOSE: An agitating and defoaming apparatus is provided, which is capable of independently controlling revolution velocity and rotation velocity of the container so as to agitate and defoam a material contained in a container revolved and rotated. CONSTITUTION: In an agitating and defoaming apparatus comprising a revolution shaft(30), an arm(40) fixed to the revolution shaft, a rotation shaft(50) rotationally installed on the arm, a power transmission shaft(20) rotated around the revolution shaft, and a power transmission means for transmitting rotary power of the power transmission shaft to the rotation shaft, the agitating and defoaming apparatus is characterized in that the power transmission means comprises a one-way clutch, wherein the one-way clutch is one-way clutch bearing(65), and wherein the power transmission means comprises a transmission shaft(60) installed at the arm so that the transmission shaft rotates for the arm; first driving gear(23) fixed to the power transmission shaft so that the first driving gear is rotated along with the power transmission shaft with being integrated with the power transmission shaft; first driven gear(61) installed on the transmission shaft so that the first driven gear rotates for the transmission shaft with being engaged with the first driving gear; second driving gear(63) fixed to the transmission shaft so that the second driving gear is rotated along with the transmission shaft with being integrated with the transmission shaft; and second driven gear(51) fixed to the rotation shaft so that the second driven gear is integrally rotated along with the rotation shaft with being engaged with the second driving gear, wherein inner wheel of the one-way clutch bearing is fixed to the transmission shaft, and outer wheel of the one-way clutch bearing is fixed to the first driven gear.
