PURPOSE: A method and a device capable of selecting a printing environment selected are provided to enable a user to select the printing environment from respective printing environments of an application and a printer driver. CONSTITUTION: A printer interface(220) interfaces a printer(100) and the data. A user interface(210) comprises an input part(212) and a display(214) in order to interface with the user. A controller(230) prints out a printing file by reflecting the contents selecting the printing environment inputted from the user through the input part(212). The controller(230) includes the application(232), a printer driver(234), and a printing environment selecting tool providing part(236).
