<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an optical pickup device in which laser beams having different wavelengths are used. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam is selectively emitted in two wavelengths LD 21 from a light emitting point 32a which is positioned at the optical axis center and from which a laser beam having a shorter wavelength is emitted, and a light emitting point 32b which is positioned apart from the light emitting point 32a by a prescribed distance and from which a laser beam having a longer wavelength is emitted, and the laser beam of the longer wavelength side emitted from the light emitting point 32b is corrected with an optical axis correction element 23 provided at a stage ahead of a beam splitter 24 which splits reciprocating optical paths so that the laser beam has an inclination angle with respect to the optical axis becomes 0°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
