PURPOSE: A method for improving an air bag development performance test is provided to reduce cost required for designing a vehicle by reducing a required time to fire and the number of collision tests of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A collision waveform is inputted through an air bag sensor when a vehicle collision test is carried out(S10). Then, the collision waveform raises(S20). After that, the collision waveform is dropped within a predetermined time period(S30). When the collision waveform reaches a predetermined level, the collision waveform is inputted again through the air bag sensor(S40). Then, the inputted collision waveform is restarted(S50). After that, the collision waveform, which has been restarted, raises again(S60). The time for dropping the collision waveform is in a range of 20ms to 30ms. |
