PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a cellulose fabric which is differentiated in the dyeability between the front surface and the rear surface of the fabric or its parts while bearing the tactile sensation intrinsic to the cellulose fiber. CONSTITUTION: A cellulose fiber-based fabric is partly treated with a shrink proofing cellulose resin such that the treated portion thereof is differentiated in the reactivity to the cellulose dye from the non-treated portion thereof. The cellulose fiber is a natural cellulose fiber, such as cotton and hemp, and a regenerative cellulose fiber, such as a viscose rayon, polynosic rayon and lyocell. The shrink proofing cellulose resin is a urea-formaldehyde resin, a reactive ethylurea resin, an uronic resin, a glyoxal resin, and a poly-carboxylic acid resin and variations thereof.
