<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which reduces a cost and has excellent recording characteristics by using a light reflection layer consisting of aluminum or aluminum alloy. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium is provided with the light reflection layer, a recording layer and a cover layer in this order on a substrate formed with grooves of a track pitch 200 to 400 nm and groove depth 10 to 150 nm and performs recording and reproducing by being irradiated with a laser beam of a wavelength below 500 nm from the cover layer side, in which the light reflection layer consists of the aluminum or aluminum alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
