PURPOSE: An internal floating cover apparatus for a storage tank is provided to improve sealability with an increase in adherence to the inner wall surface of a storage tank and lengthen the service life with an increase in endurance. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of flat shoe plates(300) are provided so as to be tightly surface-contacted along an inner wall surface(210) of a storage tank(200) corresponding to a rim plate(110). A plurality of plate springs(400) are tightly contacted to the shoe plates(300) with the center engaged to the rim plate(110) and both opposite ends curved fro the center at a predetermined angle, and are provided between the shoe plates(300) at a predetermined interval. A connecting member consists of a shoe arm(510) whose upper end is engaged to the center of the plate spring(400) engaged to the rim plate(110) and a hanger arm(520) whose upper end is rotatably axially fixed to the top of the shoe plate(300) as the lower end is rotatably axially fixed to the lower end of the shoe arm(510), and is connected to the rim plate(110) so that the shoe plate(300) is movably connected thereto. A continuous seal(600) covers the gap between both opposite ends with a slack length, with one end fixed to the upper end of the rim plate(110) and the other end fixed more upward from the shoe plate(300) to which the hanger arm(520) is fixed.
