<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy mounting on a printed board concerning an HM (hard metric) connector, for example, used for a switching equipment, a server, a computer, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector 1 is structured with a connector body 2, a contact 3 mounted in a hole of the connector body, and a shield board 4 made by forming an upper flat part and a vertical flat part to shield an upper surface and a rear surface of the connector body in nearly an L-shape through a bending part and forming a press-in part pressed into a through-hole of a printed board at a bottom end part of the vertical flat part.
