<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal removal antenna having a function for removing the signal of the frequency of an image signal from a signal received by an antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The image signal removal antenna has the antenna for receiving a radio signal and an image signal removal section for removing the image signal at a specific frequency from the radio signal received by the antenna. Additionally, the image signal removal antenna has a matching circuit that carries out the impedance matching between the antenna and a high-frequency reception circuit, and supplies a signal where the image signal is removed from the radio signal received by the antenna to the high-frequency reception circuit. In the design of the antenna and matching circuit, an image signal removal functional is added, thus minimizing and removing the noise component of the frequency of the image signal transmitted to the next circuit portion, and hence increasing image signal removal performance in an entire radio receiver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
