<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allocate many types of rental vehicles so as to reduce excess costs for vehicle allocation. <P>SOLUTION: Reservation without specifying types is allowed. In a server for managing the rental vehicles, a storage means of type-specified reservation data including 'a vehicle type, a lending office, lending time, a returning office and returning time', a storage means of type-unspecified reservation data including 'the lending office, the lending time, the returning office and the returning time' and without including the 'vehicle type' and a means for extracting the type-unspecified reservation that 'the returning time is before the lending time of the type-specified reservation data and the vehicle type of the type- specified reservation data is in stock at the lending time at the lending office' when 'the number of specified vehicle types in stock at the lending time at the lending office' is zero are prepared.
