<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil where a jointing strength between a connector-side terminal and an igniter-side terminal is large while the cost for jointing the connector-side terminal to the igniter-side terminal is suppressed to a conventional level. <P>SOLUTION: The ignition coil comprises a connector which has a connector- side terminal connected electrically to an engine controller, an igniter which has an igniter-side terminal connected electrically to the connector-side terminal, and a housing which houses the igniter. A connector-side jointing part 400 provided to a connector-side terminal 40 is jointed to an igniter-side jointing part 300 provided to an igniter-side terminal 30 by resistance welding in which one jointing part wraps around the other jointing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
