PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment which can accept reception interruption from a user of a receiving terminal during image information communication. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment has a means of accepting the reception interruption from the user during reception, a means of sending an interruption request out for transmission-side transmission, and a resending means of interrupting the transmission on receiving the interruption request from a reception-side device and then restarting the interrupted image information sending operation.
