PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device which has improved operability and convenience by saving labor of a user when switching a display means to be used for watching a prescribed indication. SOLUTION: When an opening/closing detecting part 14 detects that a mobile telephone set 100 is folded, a control part 1 outputs image data from a first memory 4 to a second display driver 7, displays an image on a second display part 9 and turns on a second back light 11. The control part 1 validates an input of a second shutter button 13b. When the opening/closing detecting part 14 detects that the mobile telephone set 100 is not folded, on the other hand, the control part 1 outputs the image data from the first memory 4 to a first display driver part 6, displays the image on a first display part 8 and turns on a first back light 10.
