PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management device capable of automically updating the data of file systems having various file structures. SOLUTION: File storage information formed of a record number and a data is received, and switch information is acquired to specify data reference and data storage address management means. An address list 1 is acquired from the record number and the data reference address management means, and a changed address list 2 is acquired from the address list 1. It is retained in a data storage area by use of a changeable address 1 included in the address list 1, the data and a data management means, and retained in an address storage area by use of the address list 1 and the data storage address management means. File reference information formed of a record number is received, and the address list 1 is acquired by use of the record number and the data reference address management means to acquire data from the data storage area.
