PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device and data management method capable of automatically processing, when prescribed data are changed, a data content depending on the data at a high efficiency. SOLUTION: This server device 1 includes a dependency management part 3 having an access management part 4, a dependency processing part 5, and a dependency storage part 6. The dependency between a depended data D1 and a depending data D2 stored in a database 2 is stored in the dependent relation storage part 6, and the accesses from clients 12-13 to the database 2 are monitored by the access management part 4.
