PURPOSE: A method for renting/selling a DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) is provided to automatically rent or sell the DVD for 24 hours through the Internet or a wireless communication network using a cellular phone, an RF(Radio Frequency) card, and a credit card. CONSTITUTION: A DVD renting/selling device displays a main screen including a key for searching, returning, and selecting the DVD(S1). The DVD renting/selling device downloads a blacklist from the VAN(Value Added Network)(S1-1). If a DVD title is selected, the DVD renting/selling device displays the renting/selling information(S3). If the RF card is contacted to the DVD renting/selling device, the DVD renting/selling device checks the contact of the RF card. If the user is a member, the DVD renting/selling device confirms the card approval. After the settlement, the DVD renting/selling device issues a receipt, pulls out the DVD, and transmits the settlement information to the VAN and a main server. |
