<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card having a plurality of function units capable of preventing collision of signals to a host, and maintaining high responsiveness to the host of all the function units or a specific function unit, and its control method. <P>SOLUTION: In this IC card, an arrangement part is provided between each input/output part and the host. The arrangement part distributes commands from the host to processable function units, arranges processing results of respective function units, and returns them to the host.
